A New Face for Shimokitazawa

I created a mural on the exterior wall of "Shimokita Front," a new commercial building that opened at the central exit of Shimokitazawa Station. The mural's theme is music and the memories of Shimokitazawa.

This location was formerly the site of a station-front food market. The artwork incorporates the owner's desire to preserve the traces of that history within the painting.
